More than 400 packed The Mercure Hotel in Manchester to be among the first to find out the winners of this year’s IHEEM Awards.

Creative Parking Solutions was highly commended in that category for its car park management partnership at Central Manchester University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The Award for Best BIM Initiative was presented to Interserve for its work on The Christie Centre’s proton beam therapy centre.

One project was highly commended in the Sustainable Achievement class - North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust for the installation of energy-efficient technology; while the overall award was taken by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for the introduction of an electric transport fleet within estates and facilities.

Two commendations were given out in the hotly-contested Product Innovation category, to Belimo Automation UK for the Electronic Pressure Independent Value (EPIV); and Sentinel Water for its Ice Pigging biofilm removal system. The winner in this category was Axis Automatic Entrance Systems for the AXIS Flow-Motion Manual Sliding Door.
