Professionals involved in planning, commissioning, designing or delivering mental health and dementia care environments are invited to attend the Mental Health & Dementia Facilities Forum, taking place on 27 November at The Belfry.
This focused, one-day event brings together project delegates from NHS Trusts, local authorities, care providers, and architectural and design practices, to explore how built environments can better support patient dignity, therapeutic outcomes, and staff wellbeing. With increasing pressure on services and a growing need for environments that reduce distress and enhance recovery, the forum provides a valuable opportunity to hear best practice case studies, learn from sector specialists and share insight with peers from across the UK.
The programme includes expert-led seminars, lived experience perspectives, and practical discussions on design considerations such as sensory stimulation, safeguarding, anti-ligature solutions, outdoor space integration, infection prevention, and supporting independence. The day also includes pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, enabling delegates to connect directly with suppliers and solution providers relevant to their upcoming projects.
Held in the well-connected and comfortable setting of The Belfry, the forum offers an efficient way to gain new knowledge, explore new approaches, and build relationships that support better-designed care environments — all within a single day.
Networking Golf Day – 26 November (Optional)Delegates are also invited to take part in a relaxed networking golf day on 26 November, hosted on one of The Belfry’s world-renowned PGA courses. This informal pre-event activity provides a valuable opportunity to build relationships and connect with fellow delegates and industry experts in a scenic and enjoyable setting.
Delegate places are complimentary for qualifying project professionals.
