Kier to provide facilities management for Velindre

One of the West Midlands’ leading independent architects is celebrating a major healthcare first for its business.

The adult social care provider, National Care Group (NCG), has announced a partnership with one of the UK’s leading resource management consultancies, Click Waste, part of the Novati group, to improve recycling and waste management as set out in their new sustainability strategy.

Kier, as part of the ACORN consortium, has secured the contract to provide facilities management services for the upcoming Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, scheduled to be completed in 2027.

New helipad for Salisbury District Hospital

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has officially opened its new upgraded hospital landing site for air ambulances, following a £321,000 donation from the HELP Appeal, the only charity in the country dedicated to funding hospital helipads.

KIER Selected For £60M Mental Health Hospital

Kier has been appointed by the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a new £60m 54-bed acute inpatient mental health hospital in Bexhill, as part of its Re-designing Inpatient Services in East Sussex (RIS:ES) Programme.
