Radar Healthcare has acquired patient experience and outcomes platform Cemplicity, expanding its healthcare quality, safety and patient engagement offer.
Cemplicity provides tools for collecting and analysing patient-reported experience measures (PREMs) and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs), alongside real-time patient feedback, shared decision-making insights, surgical site surveillance and post-care outcomes.
Radar Healthcare provides digital systems covering areas including quality, risk, compliance, incident management, audits and action management, as well as patient information and digital consent.
The deal follows Radar Healthcare’s recent acquisition of EIDO Healthcare, which specialises in digital consent and patient information.
Radar said the addition of Cemplicity would allow healthcare organisations to link patient feedback and reported outcomes more closely with quality, safety and improvement processes.
Edward Bellamy at Radar Healthcare said: ‘Cemplicity brings deep expertise in patient experience, patient-reported outcomes and real-time patient insight, which strongly complements Radar Healthcare’s quality, risk, compliance and improvement platform.
‘Together, we can help customers connect what patients are experiencing with the workflows needed to act on that insight and drive meaningful improvement.’
Blaik Wilson at Cemplicity said: ‘Cemplicity has always focused on helping healthcare teams understand experience and outcomes from the patient perspective. Joining Radar Healthcare gives us an opportunity to build on that work and support more organisations in using patient-reported insight to improve care.’
Radar Healthcare is backed by Marlin Equity Partners.
The companies said existing Cemplicity customers would continue to receive their current services and product access, while the businesses explore opportunities to integrate patient experience and outcomes data with Radar Healthcare’s quality, safety and risk management systems.
