Work nears competion on new mental health unit

Interclass is nearing completion on work to build a new extension to the Milford House mental health unit in Stafford.

The developer was appointed by Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to carry out the new-build extension which will provide much-needed additional inpatient accommodation in the form of six new en-suite bedrooms. 

The project also involves the refurbishment of 12 bedrooms within the existing facility, as well as a programme of external works, enhancing the gardens and outdoor space for patients.

All works are being carried our sensitively with careful sequencing to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the staff and patients who have remained at Milford House for the duration of the project.
