Leading furniture manufacturer, and approved NHS supplier, Knightsbridge, launched three new furniture collections, ROK Extreme, MORE and ASANA at the Design in Mental Health Conference and Exhibition in Coventry.
The three new collections, have been expertly designed, developed, and manufactured to suit challenging environments, ensuring safety to meet the needs of care providers and users whilst also creating a stylish feel. All collections provide sturdy, reliable and long lasting items of furniture, guaranteeing security for all challenging environments.
The star of the show was ASANA being incredibly well received by all who visited the stand. The main compliment was that at last one of the furniture providers had mastered the ability to create a wonderfully comfortable range while adhering to all the major performance criteria needed for these markets. The modular range can be bought in seven unique shapes featuring a plywood reinforced frame construction with no visible staples, or gaps which removes any opportunity to hide weapons, contraband, or medication in the furniture. ASANA also offers the option of additional weighting for peace of mind, eliminating the ability for patients to move and/or pick up items so they can be used as barricades or weapons.
As the only design and build furniture company in the industry, Knightsbridge has proved it is the industry leader in providing personal solutions for challenging environments such as hospitals, prisons, care homes and many more institutions.
Jason Brown, Director of Design & Development, comments “It’s been an absolute pleasure working on these brand-new collections. Here at Knightsbridge, we have over 80 years of experience in designing furniture products in the healthcare, care and challenging environments market, alongside hospitality, workplace and interior design spaces, and we always combine our knowledge and market research to create high quality, UK-made products - perfectly suited for the end user. We’re thrilled to have launched these collections at such a well-regarded event in the industry and we’re excited to start seeing these products land in projects around the UK soon!”
