New Hospital Programme to outline next steps on 23 April

The New Hospital Programme is to host an online event on 23 April exploring its priorities for the year ahead, following the appointment of 10 contractors to its Hospital 2.0 Alliance.

The webinar, taking place on Thursday 23 April at 11.30am and hosted by Sypro, will bring together senior figures from the programme to discuss its ambitions and the future of healthcare delivery.

Speakers include Natalie Forrest, chief programme officer, Emma Whigham, alliance operations director, Darren Colderwood, pdp director, and Emily King, industrialisation director.

The Hospital 2.0 Alliance is intended to support the delivery of hospitals that are faster to build, safer and digitally enabled. It forms part of a new procurement approach designed to reshape public sector construction while addressing capacity constraints in the UK market.

Natalie Forrest, chief programme officer at the New Hospital Programme, said:

‘The appointment of 10 construction partners to the Hospital 2.0 Alliance marks a major step forward – not just for the New Hospital Programme, but for healthcare construction in England.

‘With this new procurement model and our alliance partners in place, we’re moving beyond simply building hospitals. We’re transforming how healthcare infrastructure is designed and delivered through a true alliance approach.

‘This session is an opportunity to share how we’re enabling faster delivery, and how collaboration, innovation, and long-term investment in skills and social value are coming together to create a more sustainable model for the NHS.’

The session will include a question and answer segment, allowing attendees to put questions directly to the programme team.

Registration for the event is now open at https://sypro.co.uk/webinars/nhp-ambitions-for-the-year-ahead-webinar/?utm_source=press+release&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=NHP+webinar
